2026 Canadian Laboratory Automation and Computational Pathology Summit

The CAP-ACP, together with industry partners is hosting a 2-day event May 28-29, 2026, in Vancouver, BC.

Day 1 will focus on digital pathology implementation and lab automation, including systems available and experiences from various labs that have incorporated automation.

Day 2 will emphasize Computational Pathology and Precision Diagnostics, including the evolving role of the pathologist in therapy selection, biomarker testing, and integration of genomic data into clinical workflows.

Neuropathology for Pathologists' Assistants Education Session

The PA Section of the CAP-ACP is hosting a one time paid educational session on the topic of Neuropathology for Pathologists’ Assistants, held virtually on Saturday June 27, 2026 from 10am – 5:10 pm EST. This event will provide a review of neuroanatomy and histology, as well as a review of grossing, biobanking, frozen sections, neuropathology in medical and forensic autopsy settings, common CNS tumours, and will include a tutorial on brain cutting. The continuing education hours from this event are eligible towards CCCPA-CCCAP and ASCP recertification hours, but is unaccredited towards Section 1 and Section 3 credits.

2026 ASCP & CAP-ACP Joint Annual Scientific Meeting

The 2026 ASCP & CAP-ACP Annual Scientific Meeting, being held on November 17-20, 2026, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, will be the essential global gathering of the entire pathology and laboratory medicine community.
