CAP-ACP Virtual Education Series

The CAP-ACP hosts a robust Virtual Education Series (VES) and Long Course (LC) Scientific Program. In 2025 there will be over 24+ hours of MOC Section 1 Accredited Activities.

This is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1 &3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and approved by the Canadian Association of Pathologists

Virtual Gross Rounds - Mt Sinai

Recordings of Virtual Gross Rounds (VGR) by the pathology staff at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Pathologists’ Assistant Brian Chow, and Pathologist Carlo Hojilla, can be found on their youtube channel. It is an educational channel that focuses on quick and short grossing tutorials, with a focus on gross anatomy and pathology.

Grossing tutorials with PA Section member Nicole Herbers

Nicole is a Master’s trained, CCCPA-CCCAP and ASCP certified Pathologists’ Assistant working in Canada. She has created an educational youtube channel geared towards pathologists’ assistants, medical students, pathology residents, and other healthcare professionals to review the pathology and grossing of common pathological specimens.
